FAQ

Q.  Can I please commission a costume from you?
A.  Not right now, sorry - I am back in school and have cons to prepare for, so costume commissions are closed until further notice.

Q.  What conventions are you going to, so I can come by your table and say hi?
A.  My next stop will be the Phoenix Cactus ComiCon in Mesa, AZ; come by my table and say hello!

Q.  These Bishie Hotline pins you have are so cute!  What are the designs from?
A.  The Bishie Hotline items are exclusive Armada Anime merchandise from the webcomic of the same name.  You can find it at BishieHotline.com.

Q.  Can I enter a costume contest wearing a costume I bought from you?
A.  Yes, usually.  If you win something, please let everyone know where you got it, and let me know - I like to know when my work wins awards.  ^_^  However, keep in mind that in some competitions it is against the rules to enter in something you bought/didn't make yourself.  Make sure you know whether this rule applies to the contest before you enter.  Cosplay contests (for short skits) usually aren't judged on costuming but on acting, so those are also fine.

Shipping or Returns:

Q.  What are your shipping prices?
A.  Well, that depends.  If you're just buying cards, it will be between $1.50-3.00 within the US, or about $3 internationally.  If you're getting anything else, once you check out in the shopping cart the shipping will be displayed.

Q.  What qualifies as international shipping?
A.  I'm in the United States.  Anything that's NOT the United States requires international shipping.  APO addresses are US shipping.

Q.  I'm trying to order but the shipping seems way too high.
A.  Shipping is calculated automatically, and sometimes it goes awry and ends up charging too much.  If you do end up paying more for shipping than you should, you will receive a refund.

Q.  I won some auctions from you on eBay, and you have more stuff I want.  Can I get them shipped together?
A.  Yes, I can combine shipping with orders and auction wins on eBay.  Just email to let me know, and be sure you pay for everything together.

Q.  What is your return policy?
A.  There are no returns on costumes.  If something doesn't fit right, I'll be happy to try to fix it if you mail it back to me.  This does NOT include something not fitting because you told me you were a size 6 when you're really a size 12.  Otherwise, purchases from the custom shop (cosplay accessories, etchings, etc.) can be returned for a refund minus the shipping price.  Merchandise from the store (cards, shitajiki, toys) can only be returned if the item arrived damaged.  This means you can NOT say "I got it and decided I'd rather have my $20 back."  If you do need to return something, please do so within 30 days of receiving it.

Trading Policies:

Q.  Can I trade for items on your site, other than just the trading cards?
A.  Well, that depends on what you have to trade, and what you want to get.  Send me an e-mail and ask about it.  I'm usually very trade-friendly.

Q.  I want to trade something other than what you ask for on your trade list.  Can I still trade it?
A.  If you have something you think I might want (such as anime gashapon, action figures, stationery, toys, art books, etc.), send me an e-mail with what you have and what you want to trade it for.  I'll let you know if it's a trade I'm interested in.  I have a trading card want list here, and an other-stuff want list here.

Q.  I have like, a million hentai/yaoi/yuri doujinshi I want to trade.  Please let me trade those to you!
A.  No, sorry.  I don't carry them on the site, so they really aren't worth trading for.  My suggestion is selling them on eBay - they sell rather well, then you can use that money to buy things from me!  It's almost like a trade that way.

Q.  Can I trade cards from [such-and-such] series for cards from [this-and-that] series?
A.  Cards can be traded across series AS LONG AS they are of similar value.  If they aren't, we can come up with a ratio that we both agree on.  Go ahead and e-mail me to ask about it.
